Emem is a multidisciplinary founder, creative strategist, and systems-driven visionary whose work lives at the intersection of engineering precision and elevated taste. She has been building in plain sight since 2013, layering creativity, strategy, and execution into everything she touches.
Her journey began as a college engineering student with a blog that became a digital laboratory for storytelling, visual identity, and cultural commentary. In 2014, she launched #4WaysToWear, years before the concept became mainstream, teaching her audience how to maximize and elevate what they already owned.
She wasn’t following trends. She was early.
That instinct to see ahead, to structure what others only sense has defined her work ever since.
While earning her engineering degree, she launched an Etsy store shipping handcrafted designs to over 20 countries, building a 4.8-star global customer base. Her college to-do lists moved seamlessly between lab reports and international fulfillment, a duality she now brings to every client project: vision paired with execution.
For over eight years, she worked as a Personal Stylist for professional women, helping them align how they presented with who they were becoming. Even then, her work was never about surface-level aesthetics. It was about clarity, confidence, and structural alignment internally and externally.
In 2020, she began hosting weekly online classes in content creation, product photography, and digital presence. What started as a response to uncertainty evolved into something more intentional.

With a steady stream of business owners seeking strategy, direction, and creative vision, in 2021, she founded Memkoh Studio to meet them there.
With a Master’s degree from Johns Hopkins University and a background spanning Nano-materials research, biotech, and tech at DoorDash, Emem developed a research-driven, systems-oriented mindset that now anchors her creative work.
Engineering trained her to think structurally. Research trained her to think rigorously. Style trained her to think visually. Entrepreneurship trained her to think strategically.
